Hot off the heels of its viral Pierced Nipple Bra, everyone’s favorite shapewear brand, SKIMS, is back with another controversial new launch. Dubbed Ultimate Hip, the new “mid-level compression solution” is crafted with soft foam pads embedded at the hip, designed to give you that hourglass figure you so desire.
Complete with interior elastic on the waist, a closed gusset and raw-cut leg opening, the seamless shorts are designed to go undetected under your clothing, creating a fuller hip shape with ease. The new launch may seem pretty controversial at first, but in essence, it’s not that different from the concept of a push-up bra, designed for those who want a little lift and a slightly different shape without having to actually change their appearance. After all, why should we stop at bras?
